Trikuteshwara Temple is located Gadag Town is about 55 km from Hubli., Karnataka India.The temple was built in 6th to 8th Centuries an d built by the early Chalukyas and has three lingams mounted on the same stone. There is a shrine dedicated to Saraswathi in this temple and it has nicely carved columns. The temple dates back to the Kalyani Chalukyas who ruled this region from around 1050 to 1200 CE, during which time about 50 temples were built.The temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva.Here lord shiva known as Trikuteshwara.

The Trikuteshwara temple complex has mainly a temple for Trikuteshwara (which has 3 Lingams representing the Trinity) and Saraswati Temple which has heavily decorated pillars.The temple is famous for ornate pillars with intricate sculpture. The sanctum enshrines three Shivalingams.The temple complex also has the Saraswathi Temple and Someshwara Temple.This temple has elaborately decorated stone columns and porch with wonderful carvings.
