More Information about Parabdham
Parbadham is a popular religious place near Bhensana. Here is the Samadhi of Saint Devidas and Amarma, who served the people suffering from leprosy and abandoned by the society. We will know the complete history of Parbadham later, but first let us know about the popular fair held here on the day of unripe seeds.
Parbadham is believed to have been founded by Saint Devidas 350 years ago. He was born in Jivabhagat and Sajanbai in Ness of Munjiyasar village in Rabari caste. Devidas used to serve the leprosy patients at Parbadham and feed the hungry people. Pleased with the faith and human service of Deva Bhagat, Saint Jerambharathi named Devidas from Deva Rabari. Devidas turned the yoke to fetch food from the surrounding village and began to feed the hungry. After bathing the leopards with neem water, they started giving new life. The new temple at Parbadham was inaugurated by Karshandasbapu's Guru Sevadasbapu in 1982 and the temple was completed in 1999. This new temple is magnificent and spacious.
Word of Devidas' service sacrifice reached far and wide villages. Among them, Amar Maa was also associated with him in Seva Yajna. Amarbai belonged to Ahir caste and lived in Shobhavadla village of Visavadar. After the marriage, their mother-in-law was leaving. All along the way, these people stopped for lunch. Amarma went with her Nand to pay obeisance to Parbana Pir. Amarma saw Devidas Bapu serving the patients of Raktapiti. Seeing this, Amarma's mind awoke from the world. Instead of going with her husband, they decided to stay in the place of the festival. Devidas Bapu persuaded him to go but he did not agree. Then they made disciples. Amarma turned to Zoli and started helping Devidas. So are the leaflets attached to the space. In time, Devidas Bapu took samadhi. In time, Amarma also took samadhi.
