 Sundha Mata temple, a 900 old temple dedicated to Chamunda Devi, is located atop a hillock known as 'Sundha.' History of  Sundha Mata Temple in Bhinmal 

Sudha Mata temple was built by Chauhan King Chaching Dev during 1312 AD. Sudha Mata is also known as Adhghateshwari, which means a Goddess without a torso. Here, the head of Goddess Chamunda is worshipped. As per the legend, when Lord Shiva was performing Tandav carrying the body of Sati, Lord Vishnu decided to chop the body of Sati with his Sudarshan chakra in order to calm down Lord Shiva. It is believed that Sati's head fell at this place. Hence, this place is considered as one of the Shakti Peeths.

In the temple premises, there are three historically important inscriptions which narrate the history of the different regions. The first inscription of AD 1262 describes the victory of Chauhans over Parmaras. The second inscription is from 1326, and the last one is from 1727. These inscriptions throw light on the history of India.

Varaha Temple is located in Pushkar City Rajasthan India.The temple was built in 125th centuary and built by King Anaji Chauhan. Tannot Mata is a temple in western State of Rajasthan in District Jaisalmer of India. As per the oldest Charan literature Tannot Mata is new clone of divine goddess Hinglaj Mata, and than after Tannot Mata becomes Karni Mata, And known as Goddess Of Charan’s.Tanot Mata is accepted as the incarnation of Goddess Hinglaj which is situated in Lasvela region of Baluchistan. And one of the interesting parts of the temple is that the bombs which were shed by Pakistan in the war did not harm the temple at all because of the Goddess Tanot divine power and now you can find these unexploded bombs in Tanot Mata temple museum.

Tanot Mata Temple is temple of Goddess Hinglaz in district Balmer near Jaisalmer, Rajasthan. It is closed to the Indo-Pak border. This temple is under Border Security Force (BSF) due to security reason and we also called as ‘Temple of Miracles’ because it is said that Goddess Hinglaz defended the soldiers of India from bombs in such a great way during India Pakistan war of 1965 and 1971. The surroundings of temple are very peaceful yet it is in Thar Desert, a hot region. Tourists are not allowed to go beyond the temple (near to the border) unless one gets the proper documentation from the higher authorities. Feelings of public are attached to the temple to provide best amenities to devotees. 

The legend says that Pakistan army dropped more than 3000 bombs till 19 Novermber but the temple of Tanot mata remained unscathed. The story goes on saying that deity herself came in dream of soldiers and promised to protect them if they stay in close vicinity of temple.

History of Mateshwari Tanot Rai Temple

Tanot  is  a  place  located  at  a  distance  of  120  Km  from Jaisalmer  and  name      Tanot  is named  on  goddess  Tanot.Praisee  is  said      to  be  incarnation  of  Goddess  Hinglaz  now  located in Lasvela Distt of Bluchistan.  

 

Bhati Rajput King Tanu Rao made Tanot as their capital.  In AC 847 foundation of Goddess Tanot was kept and idol was installed. Temple is revered by generations of Bhati Rajput and people of Jaisalmer and surrounding areas.  Later on with the advent of time, Bhati Rajput brought their capital to Jaisalmer but temple remained located at Tanot. 

Before 1965 this temple was maintained by personnel of RAC and when BSF was formed, responsibility of maintaining this  temple  was  shifted  to  BSF.    It  is  a  great  source  of  inspiration for troops of BSF as well as of army due to miracle happened  during  1965  Indo  Pak  war.  It  is  said  that  in  the  month  of  Oct  1965  Pak  Army  had  advanced  from  two  flanks  i.e.  from  Kishangarh  and  Sadewala  side  to  deep  inside  Indian  territory  but  area  in  between  where  this  temple  is  located  could  not  be  overrun  despite  heavy  pounding  by  Arty  and  fierce  fighting.  Pak  Army  fired  more  than  3000  shells  in  area  around temple but due to divine power, It is said that most of the  shell  went  blind  and  what  so  ever  exploded  could  not  cause much damage. It is further claimed by inhabitants living in nearby villagers that motherGoddes Tanot appeared in the dreams  of  some  soldiers  and  assured  them  for  protection  if  they  do  not  leave  the  premises  of  temple. Later  on  Indian  Army repulsed the attack of Pak Army and after three days of heavy fighting Pak Army made a hasty retreat leaving hundred of dead of its soldier. At that crucial time of war two coys of 13 Bn  BSF  and  one  Bn  of  Grenadier  was  deployed  in  area  of  Tanot against one Bde of Pak Army but they fought valiantly and broke the back bone of enemy due to goddess blessings. 

Since  then  this  temple  came  into  prominence  and  its  popularity spread over other region also . Again in 1971 when Pak  Army  launched  sudden  attack  in  Longewala  in  the  night  of 4th Dec, due to inspiration and spritual strength drawn from this temple, only one coy of Punjab regiment alongwith one coy of  BSF  (14  Bn  BSF)  repulsed  their  attack  which  is  a  unique operation in the world history ofbattles. 

Longewala is called as a  graveyard  of  Pak  Tanks  where  their  entire  Tank  regt  was  made to bite the dust due to exemplary coverage shown by our troops. In the memory of victory in this historic battle of  Longewala a Vijay Memorial has been constructed at the entrance of temple where on 16th Dec every year a celebration is  organized  with  fervour  and  gaiety   to remember the heroic deeds of oursoldiers. 

Twice in a year i.e. in April and Sept Navrtara is celebrated at Tanot where free lunger is run by BSF as well as free Medical camp. Thousands of devotees from every nook and corner of the country throng the temple to offer their prayer to goddess. In 1989 a Tanot Mata Trust was constituted to look after the offer of temple as well as to see its management. Presently patron of this trust is worthy Shri S.N.Jain, IPS, and IG BSF Raj FTR while Shri. Sandeep Bishnoi, IPS DIG BSF SHQ JMR-I is chairman and Shri Prabhakar Joshi Offg Comdt is secretary. As feeling of public is attached with this temple a great care is taken to provide best amenities to devotees visiting the temple. Achaleshwar Mahadev Temple is situated on top of a hillock, outside the fort of Achalgarh.The temple was built about 9th century and built by the Paramara dynasty, which is also credited with having constructed the original structure of the Achalgarh Fort, later reconstructed, renovated and named as Achalgarh by Maharana Kumbha in 1452 CE.The temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva. According to popular local legend, the statue of Nandi was credited to protect the temple from an attack of Muslim invaders. When invaders attacked temple the Nandi would protect the temple by releasing innumerable bumble bees towards the attackers thereby saving the temple from destruction. The temple also has several other idols which are sculpted from Sphatik, a quartz stone, which appears opaque in natural light but becomes crystal-like translucent when a light is held against it.

This Temple is the masterpiece work of the artisans of the ancient period. The Sanctum Sanctorum is built with blocks of marble.There is a 4 ton Panch Dhatu (made of five metals – gold, silver, copper, brass and zinc) idol of Nandi (the carrier of Lord Shiva) outside the Temple. It is said that once Muslim invaders attacked this Temple and the Panchdhatu Nandi released millions of bubble bees to attack the invaders and saved the Temple. The Temple also has a natural Shiva Linga and many other sculpted idols made of a crystal like stone. There are three stone buffaloes standing around a pond near the Temple.

Trinetra Ganesha Temple is located in Ranthambhore Fort and sanctuary, which is situated 11 km away from Sawai Madhopur Rajasthan India.The temple was built in 1299 A.D. and built by King Hammer, who is believed to be an ardent devotee of Lord Ganesha.During the time of war they filled there godowns with foods and all the necessary things in Ranthambhore Fort, where King resides. Since the war lasted for several years, the stock in go downs were over. One night when King Hammir; who was a great devotee to God Ganesh, was sleeping, he dreamed that Lord Ganesh came to him and said that by tomorrow morning all the problems and lacking would be over. In the morning an idol of Lord Ganesh with three eyes (Trinetra), embossed from one of the fort’s wall. As a miracle the war was over and the godowns were full. In 1300 AD King Hammer built a temple of Lord Ganesh and placed Riddhi Siddhi, his wife and two sons Shub Labh along with the idol of Ganesh. His vehicle mushak (mouse) is also placed there.

The visitors on this occasion get to see a cocktail of events and activities at the temple to celebrate the festival with fervor. Ganesh Chaturthi magnetizes millions of devotees to Ranthambhore every year. The idol is tinted in Orange color which is a highly sacred color, particularly in Hindu religion. Gorgeous and heavy golden ornaments as well as several wreath of marigold are utilized to festoon the Ganesha idol. History of Sanwaliyaji  Seth Temple Chittorgarh

The history says that in 1840, a milkman named Bholaram Gurjar dreamt of three divine statues buried in the Chapar village of Bhadsoda-Bagund. He started digging the place, he recovered the three idols. All the three beautiful idols were of Lord Krishna.

One of the idols was installed at Mandaphiya, the second idol was established at Bhadsoda and the third was installed at the very place where it was found. The temples were constructed at all the three locations. Later, the three temples were popularly known as Sanwaliya Ji temples. Devotees visit these temples in large numbers, especially during festivals.

Mandaphiya is now known as Shri Sanwaliya Dham (The residence of Lord Krishna) and is second to Shri Nathdwara to the followers of the Vaishnav religion. People believe that all their wishes are fulfilled when they pray at Shri Sanwaliya Seth's Darbar.

Temple's main entrance is east facing and main sanctum is situated in the West.
