Dharmanath Jain Temple is located at Gujrati Road in Mattancherry in Cochin City of Kerala India.The temple was built in about 100 years ago and built by Jain Community.The temple is dedicated to Jain God 15th Jain Tirthkar Lord Dharmanath .The entirely marble interior of the temple is adorned with artworks and beautifully arranged with the sculptured pillars and idols of Jain Gods or Thirthankara's.The temple complex is sprawled over a large area with various blocks constructed for prayers and as places for offerings. The architecture of the temple is inspired by the Jain temples of Gujarat.This temples contains some artwork in the hall. The small Jain Sculpture is also placed in the hall. In this temple some womens Jain followers are there. They are always talking about the god's sculptures. This temple having a good calm surroundings and the temple paved were made by interlocking floor tiles. The temple looks colourful and has lots of cut stones in beige colour adding to the spectacle. The temple buildings are beautifully sculpted and even the pavements that lead to the sanctum sanctorum of the Tirthankar Dharmanath is architecturally perfect and the whole area is clean and peaceful. There is a beautiful picture of Gajalakshmi sitting on the lotus placed over the gates of the temple.
